All Things Southern- Leslie’s Front Porch

Welcome back!  I don’t know about you, but there is something so appealing about a front porch.  It beckons and entices us to come, sit, get comfortable and put your feet up.  Screen doors slapping shut in the summertime.  I don’t have a screen door on my house but I sure have had my share of screen doors growing up in Sandy Springs, Georgia!  Well, anyway, welcome to my home in Atlanta.  I have not one, but two front porches!  I think that was the appeal of this particular home that called to me when I first saw it.

You see, my best childhood memories are at my grandparents home, down the street from us in Sandy Springs.  I’ll share that with you here.  Do you see a slight resemblance?  Me too.

To this day, I love white houses and big old boxwoods.

I’ll share a few pictures of my front porch with you…

I have rocking Adirondack chairs, plants and hanging Pottery Barn lanterns, the American Flag,  and of course, college mascots to greet you when you visit…

This year, my partner at Adorned Interior, Kathy, is designing new pillows for the chairs to match my new welcome mat from Frontgate.  I’ll share those when they arrive.  It’s a lot of fun having a business partner that can custom design pillows to match your décor!

Thanks for coming by today!  And cheers y’all

[…] Above is my partner, Leslie’s (in my interiors business) front porch. I love how she has the lanterns hanging and the vine growing along the top. See it here. […]
