Thanks for joining us for part II of this amazing home in Buckhead, a chic suburb of Atlanta!
Tucked away behind the kitchen is the Al Fresco Dining Room. Now, it is not outdoors which Al Fresco intimates. However, it does have lovely doors that open out onto the covered loggia. The room mirrors two large tables set in reverse of one another. Great for entertaining a larger group, yet the space feels intimate and inviting with green accents abounding. Just gorgeous!
We particularly love these oversized white and gold pendants- dreaming of where we can use them for our new homes. Go big or go home- great motto!
Next on our tour is the Ladies Lounge. We really like Amy Morris Interiors use of bold color in this space. Particularly the rust banquettes against the pale pink walls- yes please.
Next up is the master bath by Michel Boyd of Smith Boyd Interiors. It is just decadent, as it should be in a home of this grandeur! Kathy and I couldn’t help giggling over the beautiful bronze statues on either side of the giant walk in shower! We will just leave it at that!
This is all on the main floor of the mansion, and the master suite is approximately one-third of the floor space!
We meandered upstairs to find four more bedrooms, a game room and a lounge. We can’t get enough of duo Lance Jackson and David Ecton of Parker Kennedy Living. Their use of color, and one of our favorite fabric collections, Thibaut is outstanding on all fronts!
One space we found particularly delicious- the spa bath on the Terrace level. That is real estate lingo for the basement level… it is what all of us busy women (and men) dream of when we come home from a long day…sauna, steam, soak… ahhhh
And saving our favorite for last, the 2800 square foot pool house situated beside the infinity edge pool. Defined by serenity and cool blues, the space feels like a delightful beach house getaway, and we love our beach trips, especially to St. Simons Island. This amazing pool house would be our perfect coastal second home, thank you! Designed by Tristan Harstan & Company, it was our highlight of the home tour!
You can see why we fell head over heels for this warm inviting space- it is beautiful with so many relaxing elements, and surprise touches like the blue stools with the fun frills.
This is the end of our tour, as we need to go in search of much needed food and maybe a glass of wine! Off to the Swan Coach House to imbibe and end a perfect tour of a stunning home!
Thanks for joining us!
